Durban’s Super Giants will be aiming to continue their dominance against MI Cape Town in their upcoming SA20 2025 clash at the Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban on Tuesday, January 21.

The Super Giants have never lost to MI Cape Town and will look to maintain their perfect record in the SA20 tournament.

After winning their opening match against Pretoria Capitals, DSG’s last three matches haven’t quite gone as per plans in the ongoing edition of the SA20.

In their last game against Sunrisers Eastern Cape, DSG rode on Kane Williamson’s valiant knock of 44 and Naveen-ul-Haq’s unbeaten 15-ball 30 to post a fighting total of 115/8 in their 20 overs.

Defending 115, the Super Giants’ bowlers bounced back with three early wickets, however, the two-time defending champions later chased down the target with six wickets in hand at the St George's Park in Gqeberha on Sunday.

Previously, DSG lost to Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Joburg Super Kings at home while their second game against Pretoria Capitals was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to persistent rain.

Having accumulated six points from five matches, DSG will be desperate to bag maximum points from their upcoming fixture on Tuesday.

On the other hand, the Rashid Khan-led MI Cape Town have registered three wins and two losses in the SA20 2025. With 14 points from five matches, the Cape Town-based outfit is currently placed second in the SA20 2025 standings.
